Feb 07, 2010 - 12:25 AM

PETERBOROUGH -- The Oshawa Generals will be hard-pressed to avoid a lost weekend after falling 6-3 in Peterborough Saturday.

The Generals will carry a four-game losing streak into Super Bowl Sunday, when they face the league's best team, the Barrie Colts, at 2:05 p.m. at the General Motors Centre.

Oshawa also fell 7-6 in Kitchener Friday and has dropped five games below .500 to 21-26-3-2, while the Colts bring a 42-7-0-2 record to town.

The Petes jumped out to a 2-0 lead Saturday and never relinquished it, outscoring the Generals 2-1 in each period.

Scott Valentine, Steve Thomas and Tyler Taylor scored for Oshawa.

Six different players scored for the Petes, who outshot the Generals 39-36.
