Midget Blue Knights improve to 4-0

OSHAWA -- The Midget Blue Knights won two more games to improve to an undefeated 4-0 start.

In the first game they defeated Orillia in convincing fashion by a score of 14-5. Oshawa jumped out to an early lead outscoring Orillia 7-2 in the first half and never looked back. The Blue Knights had 10 different players score in the lopsided win.

Halton Hills proved to be a tougher opponent. There were 22 penalties called which set the stage for some exciting play in the offensive zones for both teams. After trailing 5-4 at halftime, a goal with three seconds remaining completed the come from behind win for the Blue Knights, taking it by a score of 8-7.

Over the two games the following players all figured in the scoring: Reilly O'Connor (3g,2a), Curtis Knight (2g,3a), Danny Lintner (4g), Mitch Chapman (1g,3a), Jordan Passfield (2g,1a), Davin Lindsay and Jordan Saunderson (1g,2a), Matt Hurren (2g), Dylan Goddard, Mitch DeSnoo and Luke Laszkiewicz (1g,1a), Travis Johnstone (1g) and Chad Tutton, Tyler Gilligan and Aaron Moroney each with an assist. The goaltending tandem of Neil Roberts and Alexis Buque came through with big efforts.
