BEIJING -- A confident and calm Priscilla Lopes-Schliep has qualified for the finals in the women's 100M hurdles with a third place finish in her heat today.
Excited about the challenge, but relaxed Lopes-Schliep, of Whitby, said following her race that she's the dark horse going into Tuesday's 100M hurdles final and she hopes to surprise some people.
'I know they're beatable', she said of the competition.
Lopes-Schliep had a time of 12.68 seconds today.
Over the next 24 hours she hopes to work on her start which she says could be better.
