Two suspects at large after Pickering robbery

Handgun used in heist, say police

PICKERING -- Police are seeking two men after the robbery of a Pickering business Friday night.

Duty Inspector Joe Maiorano of Durham Regional Police said three men wearing disguises entered Champion Off-Track Wagering on Kingston Road in Pickering with “at least one handgun seen” during the heist, he said. The incident happened around 11 p.m. on Jan. 29.

One suspect has been apprehended but two remain at large, the inspector said. Anyone with information can call 905-579-1520 ext. 5360.
