DURHAM -- The last bell before the summer break has sounded at schools across Durham Region and kids have headed home for a well-deserved holiday.
They've got two months to take in everything from summer camp to Tuesday night soccer and, of course, a day or two at the beach.
In case you're counting, that means 73 days of sleeping-in in the morning.
But keep in mind, back to school shopping will soon begin. It's back to class for most students on September 8, with a few schools on modified calendars.
