Regent memories wanted

Send in your stories of the Regent

Aug 27, 2008 - 04:30 AM

OSHAWA -- With the Regent set to reopen this fall as a concert theatre, This Week is looking for readers' memories of the building over the years.

For decades, it was one of the downtown's movie theatres. What's your favourite memory of the Regent? Perhaps you worked there -- selling tickets or popcorn, or as an usher or projectionist. If so, we want to hear your memories.

Please e-mail your stories about the Regent to cchase@durhamregion.com. We'll publish them in October, when the grand opening is planned.
