In regard to your editorial for having an Earth Day with the notion of shutting down power for an hour, the school board and your paper should be ashamed of themselves for fear mongering.

There is no basis in fact that global warming is caused by man. As a matter of fact, it has become a political issue espoused by the socialists around the world.

There are many scientists with an opposing view on global warming and as such should be given respect that it deserves. The Earth is not that fragile and the only calamity we have to fear is volcanic eruptions, asteroid onslaught and overpopulation.
