Scroogy vandals make mess of well-known Christmas display

BOWMANVILLE -- A neighbourhood well known for sharing its Christmas cheer was scrooged by vandals over the weekend. At least nine homes in the Old Scugog Road area were hit over the weekend.

The area is known around Durham and beyond for its massive Christmas light displays that bring carloads of people, who drive slowly through the pretty neighbourhood's gently winding streets to get a look.
