Alice Cooper reviews

Oct 24, 2008 - 04:30 AM

OSHAWA -- When Alice Cooper played the General Motors Centre recently, his fans and our readers sent in reviews. Here are a couple of them.

Dave Crowder -- What can I say, I have seen Cooper approximately 10 times, as early as 1971 when he was doing the Dead Babies Concert. Last night was no letdown. Excellent performance and showmanship and his voice was as good as it was 25 years ago. Two great guitar players, and he did all his older songs. We left the concert knowing that we got a lot more than our money's worth. I would see him again and highly recommend it to any Cooper fans. 10 out of 10.

Felicia Lougheed -- Oct. 8 proved to be a night of excitement with shock-rocker Alice Cooper (and daughter Calico Cooper) gracing the stage of the General Motors Centre in Oshawa. An amazing show full of mind-boggling solid rock, theatrics, zombies, mummies, and even presidents filling the stage for two hours.

If you attend a local concert, send us a short review and we'll publish it either in the paper or online at newsdurhamregion.com. Send reviews to cchase@durhamregion.com.
