Durham police seek big-spending fraud suspect

DURHAM -- Police are on the lookout for a woman who went on a high-priced spending spree with a fraudulent credit card recently in Durham Region.

Durham cops have released security camera images of the suspect as they attempt to determine her identity. The woman purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise throughout Durham in April of this year using a credit card obtained through identity fraud, police said.
