Jun 24, 2009 - 04:06 PM

DURHAM -- The Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre and the Clarington Older Adults Centre are receiving grants from the Province.

Two branches of the Oshawa facility will split $64,000, while the Clarington centre will receive $8,000.

The funding is part of a provincial investment of more than $1.2 million to expand the Elderly Persons Centres program, which supports maintenance, operations and programming of seniors centres in Ontario.
