UXBRIDGE -- A new GO Transit station serving Uxbridge residents is set to open next month.

Jessica Kosmack of GO said the new Lincolnville station, offering train and bus connections, will be carrying its first passengers Tuesday, Sept. 2. The station is located at Bethesda Sideroad and Tenth Line in Stouffville, near the Uxbridge border.

"There are 150 parking spaces with room to expand," said Ms. Kosmack. "The station is fully accessible."

Train service from the new station is offered Monday to Friday. The first train will depart Lincolnville station on Sept. 2 at 5:18 a.m., scheduled to arrive at Union Station in Toronto at 6:20 a.m.

Weekday Uxbridge bus trips that currently connect with trains at the Stouffville GO station (on Main Street) and Mount Joy GO station will now only connect with trains at the new Lincolnville station.
