Health centre hosts helmet workshop

The Brock Community Health Centre is hoping to get more people to use their heads when it comes to bike and skateboard safety.

The organization will present a helmet workshop for children and teens Friday (Aug. 22). The workshop will be held at the Brock Youth Centre (38 Laidlaw South) in Cannington and runs from 1 to 2 p.m.

All youth that attend will receive a $25 voucher for the purchase of a helmet at Canadian Tire.

The session is being organized by the Ministry of Health Promotion.
