Have your say on county economic development

We asked: Despite a 7.08 per cent tax hike, should the county  consider spending $230,000 on economic development?


I believe the old saying that goes "you have to spend money to make some" and that applies here. We have to develop alternatives to the manufacturing jobs we are losing,or the entire population will suffer in the long run. I want my kids and their kids to have jobs here - not in Alberta! The only issue for me is whether the County will use the money wisely or not - they seem to pay a lot of consultants to produce a lot of hot air and not much else.
