We asked, Are GO Transit fare hikes justified given the level and quality of service provided? Why or why not?
I do not believe the recent GO Transit fare hikes are justified. I am a regular commuter, using GO twice a day, five days a week. This year the usual litany of problems were cited (switch freezing, mechanical problems), but that doesn’t help me when I’m two hours late (or more) for work. This is Canada. Cold temperatures are not new. Surely someone has come up with a solution to frozen
switches!
