We asked, Should Durham Region Transit offer free buses to charitable groups? Why or why not?

 DRT could assist with municipalities also contributing. An example in Ajax is events at Greenwood Conservation area. This has no transit service at all and if you don’t own a car you are out of luck. It would be nice for the Region to offer some pick-up points and the area agencies could fill the buses with families who might not otherwise be able to participate.
