We asked: The University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Durham is considering a name change. What should it be called?

 Durham Technical Institute or Durham Institute of Technology either of which retains part of the original name of Durham College, yet denotes the elevation to an Institution of a higher level of learning/accomplishment! Or is this too simple and unpretentious? (shortened to DTI is better than DIT of course!) -- James R. McGillawee, Oshawa
