New Canadian youth invited to get cooking in Ajax

AJAX -- New Canadian youth from Ajax and Pickering are invited to cook up a storm at The Youth Centre.

The organization is offering a free four-week cooking program for new Canadian youths 13 to 19 years old. The weekly sessions, which start Jan. 28, are facilitated by a registered dietician. Participants will learn basic cooking skills and how to make healthy eating choices.

Starting this week, the event runs every Thursday from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. at The Youth Centre, 360 Bayly St. W., Ajax.
