DURHAM -- Youths can gain babysitting confidence with an upcoming course from St. John Ambulance.
The What Every Babysitter Should Know course teaches children as young as age 11 babysitting techniques using role-playing and hands-on training. The program helps builds confidence and awareness.
The course costs $60 and is offered at the following locations: Aug. 23, Ajax Superstore, 30 Kingston Rd. W.; Aug. 27, St. John Ambulance, 64 Colborne St. E., Oshawa; Sept. 20, 314 Harwood Ave. South, Ajax; Sept. 28, Ajax Superstore, 30 Kingston Rd. W.
The program runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To register, call 905-434-7800.
