SCUGOG -- It might be cold outside next weekend, but inside the Greenbank Centennial Hall Sheesham and Lotus will be warming things up.
The musical duo is Sheesham Crowe and Lotus Wight and they’re featured in a Greenbank Folk Music Society concert on Feb. 13 at 8 p.m.
Known across North America as practitioners of the “Old Time Arts,” they perform at folk camps, festivals, universities and colleges, sharing their love of the Flat-foot buck dance, jaw-harp, harmonica duets, fiddle and banjo, ham-bone hand-jive, crooked fiddle tunes, fret-less and gourd banjos, minstrel tunes, spoons and bones and more.
Tickets are $20 each and available at Blue Heron Books, 62 Brock St. W., Uxbridge, P O E Design, 146 Queen St., Port Perry, or phone 905-985-8351 for reserved tickets and information.
The hall is on Hwy. 12, half an hour north of Whitby.
