Suspect sought in Ajax gas bar heist

AJAX -- Police have released security camera images of a man wanted for robbing an Ajax gas station.

The lone male walked into a Shell gas bar on Station Street at about 11 p.m. Oct. 28 and pulled a gun on the clerk, Durham police said. The robber fled with cash; no one was hurt.

The suspect is a black man believed to be 20 to 30 with a slender build. He wore a black checked cap and a dark hooded sweater.

The suspect wore what appeared to be a fake beard.
