PICKERING -- The Ski Patrol is coming to Pickering.

The non-profit volunteer organization is hosting ski and snowboard sales and swaps at the Pickering Recreation Complex, 1867 Valley Farm Rd., in November. It's a fundraiser for the Canadian Ski Patrol System, a volunteer organization that provides safety and rescues in ski areas across the country.

The Ski Patrol has set up three days where people can sell and/or buy new and used Alpine, snowboarding and Nordic equipment and clothing.

The Ski Patrol will accept old equipment on: Friday, Nov. 6 from 5 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It'll be selling equipment on Nov. 6 from 5 to 10:30 p.m., Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
